About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, self-directed Social Media Manager to define and manage content strategy across our organic social media channels, ideate new content ideas and methods, and deliver exceptional and timely visual and engaging content to our audience of creatives.
The individual in this role dives deep to gather data around evolving customer and channel insights to inform strategy of executional approaches which elevate brand perception, and defines measurable KPIs to optimize performance, meeting business goals for Concept Factory Atlanta and our events.
This critical team member will demonstrate strong ownership and maintain clear and concise communication across all levels of leadership. They are an excellent and innovative problem solver, demonstrate superb verbal and written communication skills, anticipate and manage potential hindrances to achieve goals with a thorough understanding of the creative development process across strategic and tactical planning. They excel in creative concept development, and have a strong sense (a natural eye) of what makes a visually compelling social media layout.
This candidate will be a subject matter expert for Concept Factory Atlanta within the team (Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, and LinkedIn) and regularly provide their POV, calling on their organic and prior social experience and expertise.
Brainstorms creative social campaign ideas and posts that benefit the goals and initiatives of Concept Factory Atlanta.
Regularly evolves and presents strategy, learnings and recommendations to senior leadership via meetings and document writing.
Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns and posts before interpreting and translating that data into actionable steps for growth.
Identifies emerging trends (content, subject matter), partnering with creative and marketing teams.
Defines content calendar for always-on and overall programming in social media and onsite channels to ensure overall strategy and goals are met.
Provide suggestions to the team for improving experience on social platforms and internal processes.
Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems, Airtable and Buffer.
2+ years relevant professional experience in social strategy, social media management, social media planning, and content creation.
1+ years of experience in graphic or content design preferred, but not required.
1+ years of experience using project management software preferred, but not required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence teams and partners.
Highly detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
A passion for social media and understanding its business impact.
Advanced proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Doc, & Drive)
Proven track record of delivering high quality social media campaigns for a variety of events, initiatives, and company pushes.
Understanding of creative development process and media planning.
**Please Note: This position is remote (work-from-home) but may require occasional travel locally within the Atlanta, GA metro region. This apprenticeship is unpaid but will allot for excellent industry training and experience under senior management.
